Death and Afterlife
Death is one of the most life-changing events in a person’s life. It’s not easy going through it and many fear what’s on the other side. Some others though, aren’t that concerned. They know that after dying there’s a pretty big chance you’ll come back again, so they aren’t afraid to tempt their fate. Regardless of who they are and how they lived their lives, this long and difficult journey to the afterlife starts the same for everyone.
1. Death
First step, of course, is death itself. It can occur for many different reasons, from illness to injury, to one simply running out of their time. While there are ways to prolong one’s life through various means, one of them being simply buying extra lives of years from an insurance company, your time may quickly run out.
Once you’re dead though, there’s not much you can do. One of things that can happen is being murdered and having your body hidden in Haunted Forest. Or maybe you weren’t murdered and you hid there yourself. Or maybe you died elsewhere but ran away and hid just the same. It all these scenarios, your best bet is finding your way to Graveyard Hideout. Here, all the dead are welcomed to hide for as long as they need or wish too. People hiding here are usually the ones who are too worried that their time finally ran out, or are for any other reason afraid to faceGlitter god’s and Satan’s judgement waiting for them on the other side.
If you’re not one of those people, you would be well advised to not stay in hiding for too long. Find, or let yourself be found by Silver Man and Woman.
2. Gates of Hell
Once you’re found by Silver Man and Woman, regardless of if you were hiding or let them find you immediately after your death, your journey to Gates of Hell can finally start. You will be led all the way to Haunted Forest, and through it to the other side. Here, you’ll arrive at a cliff with old temple ruins. Silver man and woman will leave you with the Guardian, who guards gates of Hell. She may be up for a chit chat or a board game, but eventually she will let you through the Gates she’s guarding.
3. Judgement
Once in Hell, it’s finally time to face your judgement. You may have to wait for an indeterminate amount of time for Glitter God and Satan to attend to you and they may keep you waiting for prolonged periods of time, just for their own amusement.
After the wait, you’ll enter the judgement room. Here, Glitter God and Satan will judge you, and decide what kind of a punishment will be fitting for you. If you’re lucky enough or were a good enough person in your life, especially if your time hasn’t run out yet, they might just let you back into life right then and there.
More likely outcome is that you’ll have to wait out a period of time in one of their “punishment rooms”. Here you’ll have time to contemplate all the actions that led you to your untimely death. After your time is up, you’ll be let out again, back into the life you left behind.
4. Hell
Now, if you did run out of your time, or if Glitter God and Satan decided your time is up for any other reason, you’ll go straight to Hell. The main purpose of this journey through hell is being “rendered” back into the blank character you came from. Everyone starts out as a blank character and is returned to being one after they die - it’s the circle of life.
Your journey will lead you through 9 circles of Hell, each one stripping another piece of your identity from you. You will be accompanied by the other dead and the damned. The damned themselves are on their journey through Hell, being stripped of their own identities.
The path through hell can take quite a while and is not easy, but the end result is always the same: everyone who went through hell comes out as a blank character. This blank characters is then put into Wasteland where again he waits for Glitter God and Satan to pick him and put him into the world again as a new character, starting the whole journey all over again.
Ghosts
This is the basic path of someone who is going from being a living person back to being a blank character. But as their bodies are stripped of their identities, their souls live on, separate from the body. They live on as ghosts that haunt the Haunted Forest. They may rarely be seen by the living in various places of the world, but they are quite elusive and hard to come by. One of these ghosts said to haunt Å+*4~ is Silver Wraith.
There are also people claiming that they had already died and became ghosts in the past, but now came back. None of these claims are actually confirmed though and it’s unlikely they ever will be.
