Drag Queens and Trophy Wives

Rich mothers

Unsurprisingly, people in rich area value money and high status above all else. When they have acquired those for themselve they, naturally, want the same for their children. They teach their children valuable lessons on how to obtain and keep wealth and later give them lucrative jobs in family companies. But the most important thing in maintaining your wealth and high status is to grow your own large family of similar rank. Parents encourage their children to find friends among their friends’ children, but they also pay special attention to finding their kids appropriate spouses. First step to landing an appropriate spouse is to be worthy of such a spouse to begin with. That’s why rich mothers take special interest in traditions of trophy wives and drag queens. They are both similar in many ways, but have differences in other ways.

Drag Queens

but the history of drag queens is a bit unclear. Ancient documents have been found labeling men who would dress up as women as drag queens, and as it appears that was a title that had to be earned. It’s not entirely clear when the shift was made from queens being women who would rule a kingdom, to specifically men who would dress a woman, but it’s clear that the later came into use in time after the first one would largely fall out of favor. This is a clear indicator that one classification replaced the other, thus making it the more valid one in today's society.

Some historians argue that there is no clear proof of connection between the two, and still others hold a highly controversial opinion, that even if such a connection exists, these ancient roles and labels don’t hold much bearing in today’s modern world. However, rich mothers have a reason to keep this old tradition alive. Two reasons, actually.
First is, that with the majority of the population being male, the molekind has no choice but to raise some boys as girls in order to maintain approximately the same amount of men and women.
Second reason, the most important one in the tradition of drag queens, is tied to the unique biological properties of fairies. While the mole population consists of about 20% women, there are absolutely no female fairies. In addition to that, male fairies may get pregnant, but only with other men. And fairies, being Glitter God’s direct servants, wouldn’t settle for any regular man or a genderless woman. Only a drag queen is good enough for a fairy.

Becoming a drag queen, worthy of a fairy, is anything but easy, and as the most devoted mothers say, it has to start as early as possible. This, of course, is up to debate. Many mothers prefer waiting to see if their sons will express a wish for this kind of lifestyle, but some don’t have time to leave this choice up to their young sons. Many frown upon these pushy mothers, claiming it shows the tradition of drag queens in a bad light, as if it is something only a crazy mother with no regards for her son’s feelings would do.

Regardless, a bit of pushiness is unavoidable. A young drag queen, called a princess, isn’t only expected to look pretty, but to also be smart and educated in arts and religion. Their path usually starts at a young age, with their mothers dressing them up as girls. But to show off their high status, mothers make sure to dress their sons in only the prettiest and most luxurious dresses. Soon, they are encouraged to take up an artistic hobby, be it painting, writing, music, acting or any other art form that most appeals to a young princess. Most of them dabble in more different hobbies. Later, they may only focus on one, but keeping more is considered more valuable to fairies. When young princesses get a hold of basic, they are motivated to keep improving by their mothers entering them into beauty pageants. In these, princesses show of their good looks, fancy gowns, and their talents. At the end one winner is chosen as a Little Miss of the area she enter the pageant in. Winning the title at least once, if not more, is surely desirable, but it doesn’t guarantee finding a good fairy husband later. These pageants accept girls from as young as 1year old, all the was to the end of elementary school. By this point, princesses would also start more intensively studying the glitter bible, an important knowledge for a future wife of a fairy.

When princesses enter high school, things start getting more serious. While maintaining their artistic hobbies, they are now expected to start studying glitter bible more in depth. As already mentioned, having an intimate knowledge of glitter bible is essential for someone who aspires to marry a fairy, Glitter Gods personal priest and servant. Beauty pageants from before are now replaced with fairy meetup balls, where princesses, who now grew up into young women, can meet fairies and show off all the valuable skills they have learnt thus far. If they are lucky, they will find a partner and a future husband on one of these meetups, so many take these very seriously. Again others aren’t as concerned with dating and getting married young, so they may not attend these as often as others.

During the course of high school, it is also customary for all young genderless women, no matter if they are drag queens or not, to officially change their gender from male to a gender of their choice. When this is done, it’s not unusual for their parents to throw them a gender reveal party, where they come out as their new gender to their family and friends. Especially for drag queens from rich families, this is often associated with getting a lavish gift from their parents.

Aside from some exceptions, by the end of high school the training of a drag queen is complete. Some, lucky enough to find their partners, may already get married, others may still wait. They may still attend fairy meetup balls, or involve themselves with work in temples in one way or the other, to always be close to fairies they want to marry. Regardless of when and if they get married, they usually pursue lives that revolve around their artistic careers and religion.

Trophy Wives

Mothers with daughters don’t wanna fall behind drag queens either. They value money and status just as highly as any wealthy mother, and they know that their daughters, being true women, are just as valuable as drag queens, if not even more. While every young man knows that money and wealth are the most important things in life, they also know that their wife is their most prized possession.

Becoming a trophy wife is somewhat easier than becoming a drag queen, but can be quite challenging nonetheless. These girls too are upheld to high beauty standards, and often take on artistic hobbies. Though not a general rule, some more ambitious mothers hope to marry their daughters off to sons of Satan’s priests; these are likely to follow in their father’s footsteps. These mothers encourage their daughters to study religion and Glitter Bible alongside young princesses. Similar to princesses, young future trophy wives also partake in beauty pageants, where they can show off their beauty and talents to mothers of young boys - their potential future husbands. In these pageants too, winning is desired, but not a guarantee of getting a good husband later.

While these girls do study Glitter Bible and art, their upbringing is focused more on practical skills like cooking, taking care of home, interior design and managing finances. As great wealth often comes with a large family, they often have to take on all these tasks for the rest of their family to some extent. Being a part of the high class, there’s a good chance of them sharing a household with fairies and drag queens who won’t get their hands dirty with these menial and dirty tasks. Of course, doing chores around the house is not what trophy wives marry their husbands for. They marry them for all of the perks that money brings. Once they’re done taking care of the house, it’s time to lounge around the pool that every house surely has with their trophy wife friends, shopping for fancy clothing and going out to eat at the most upscale restaurants. Their mothers teach them all about these places and activities they’ll get to enjoy as the wives of wealthy men. Many of these mothers also pay special attention to teaching their daughters how to act like ladies. Only a true woman can be a true lady, something drag queens will never have, mothers say.

Young trophy wives learn all that to a greater detail during their high school year. Contrary to princesses, trophy wives are not expected to achieve the highest results in school, they’ll hardly need it in their future years of spa days and cocktail parties, they aren’t there to be smart, but to be pretty. But even if they aren’t expected to care much for school work, many of them still do.

Similar to drag queens, young trophy wives leave beauty pageants behind in high school, and start attending lavish parties with their mothers and other wealthy families of the area, in hopes to meet a perfect husband. Since true women are a lot harder to find than men, these are usually more important to young men and their mothers. Of course, many young men aren’t too concerned if their future bride will be a true woman or not, and many young drag queens like to attend these too to keep all the bases covered; after all, not all of them are guaranteed to get a fairy husband. But finding partners isn’t the only or the main goal of these. It’s also a good opportunity to meet any new people that may join your family later on. Growing a large, wealthy family is very important in rich neighborhoods and it’s important to start early.

After they finish high school, many young people like to marry their partners and best friends soon to maintain their wealth, but some prefer to take time to make sure they find really trustworthy family members. Some prefer only having wealthy family members, but some don’t care as much and welcome people of all social classes into their family, as long as they make good family members.
