Leather

In the ancient civilization, leather was made of animal skins. And sometimes human skins as well. As we know today, the people of the ancient civilization were uncultured brutes, who were willing to murder anyone and anything for even the smallest of benefis. But in today's culture, we advanced well past these barbaric ways and created products that aren’t meant to harm anyone, and this also applies to leather. Instead of murder, our leather is entirely plant based. Fortunately for us, there are many different plants that we can make leather from, and these are some of them.

Cactus Leather

The most popular kind of leather is cactus leather produced in Desert. Big cactus farms here are growing cacti that can be harvested regularly and made into a kind of leather. Over the years, people here have created a kind of cactus, called leather cactus, that produces soft, high quality and durable leather that can be used for all kinds of clothing and accessories. This leather gets sold mainly to workshops in Desert and west Å+*4˜, but also other places. The products made of cactus leather are popular all across the world.

Tree Bark Leather

This type of leather is made from - you guessed it - tree bark. And not just any tree bark - this leather is mainly produced in T@Ö#Ä3, and is made of the tree bark of the black dead trees. This leather is highly durable and used for making of the BDSM warrior’s uniforms, but also other clothing items. Tree bark leather is for T@Ö#Ä3 what cactus leather is for Ä+*4~.

Fruit Leather

Fruit leather can be made out of a variety of fruits, but the most popular ones are leather apples. They are grown specifically for leather making purposes and produce leather that is almost as high quality as the cactus leather. It’s mainly used to make shoes and accessories. This leather is made mainly in Å+*4˜ and Fairy Gardens and used in workshops all across this side of the world.

Soybean Leather

Soybeans are one of the most popular and widely grown crop plants of Fairy Gardens and Ä+*4~. It has many uses, from food to industry, and as such, it’s no surprise that it’s used for leather as well. This leather is produced in many areas of Fairy Gardens and Ä+*4~, but most farms that produce soy for more industrial purposes (including leather) are located in East Ä+*4~.

Mushroom Leather

Mushrooms can be found in many places of our world, but the mushroom leather industry is thriving in west regions of T@Ö#Ä3, near the Mountains. There aren’t many plants that can be grown here, or many other resources, so the mushroom leather industry is pretty big here. Aside form the fact that mushrooms are regularly produced and sold to drug industry, they are great for making one of the most popular leather kinds in T@Ö#Ä3.

Other Leather

Surely, leather can be made of all sorts of other plants, and moles are every day experimenting with that. You might find a few farms here and there making leather from tree leaves, coffee beans, corn, or just about anything that grows from the ground. In any case, there’s plenty of leather to go around in our world without having to resort to the weird barbaric ways of the ancient civilization.
