Snack Stomach
Symptoms
Snack stomach is a strange, rare and mainly still very unresearched condition. Its main symptom is a constant hunger for snacks that seemingly can’t be satisfied. The sufferers are able to eat incredible amounts of snacks, way more than a normal person should be able to eat. Even if for a brief moment they are able to satisfy their hunger, they will still crave snacks just as much.
Causes
It’s not known what exactly causes this affliction and it can occur at any stage of one’s life. It is believed that it is caused by a black hole forming in one’s stomach - a gaping hole that can never be filled. This black hole will then suck in all of the snacks the person eats. No matter how much they eat, the black hole will always demand more and more.
Treatment and cure
There really is no good treatment or cure for this condition. Some believe that the best thing to do is to just eat as much as they can, hoping to at least briefly placate the demanding hole in their stomach, while the others try to practice restraint.
In some cases people will get fed up with the food and won’t want it anymore, and in some cases, if they keep themselves from eating too much all the time they won’t feel the need to do so anymore. So both of these ways cna help, but can also go horribly wrong. In any case, it is difficult to overcome these constant cravings for food, especially since you do need to eat at least something to survive.
Research
With all the info we do have, it needs to be said that not much research on this condition has been done yet. Though it can’t be denied that many people do love to eat snacks, some are skeptical about being a real condition beyond some people just loving snacks. And while it might very well be a real condition, more people are skeptical about the part where there would be an actual black hole in one’s stomach. It seems very unlikely, and despite all of our medical advancements, there doesn’t seem to be any proof of any stitch thing happening. Few x-rays of this that people have shared have been already discredited as hoaxes, or are strongly believed to be hoaxes.
Currently the best known sufferer of this condition in our world is Andrej, and he is also the strongest advocate for the condition and its sufferers.
