The Great Barrier Between Reefs

Long ago, there was a advanced Kingdom founded known as the Quai Embayment. This kingdom was unlike no other, it was a hidden city that hid in the caves of the ocean. This city had advanced technology that set up barriers that warped space and time to protect people, even from the most devastating attacks. The Quaians who inhabited the Quai Embayment, were self-proclaimed to be sent down by Poseidon, the God of the sea to show mortals the worshipping of Poseidon.
But this was a problem, somehow these barriers were an opening for a species to go through, and the Avernuses came to Quai Embayment. The Avernuses were a bunch of humans who got sent to hell before they died, they adapted to the enviroment, learning how to control fire and use it under water. They escape hell by using the Barriers made by the Quaians, In which they passed through and landed here.
It was a massacre seeing the Avernuses killing the citizens of Quai Embayment, they ripped through the city with flames hotter than the Sun God Sol could make.
Luckily, they managed to refine their Barriers in time, and Seperated themselves from the Avernuses.
The Avernuses then evolved into the species known as Acherons, being more refined and using their flames for the benefit of their nation, The Myhih Expanse. A nation that although has only been made after the Quaians seperation of Reefs, will still improve on their technology and become ultimately the equal of the Quai Embayment.
The Barrier is still seperating them, unless a brave Acheron comes and tries to show the Quaians that they've changed their ways. And that they can redeem themselves for everything that their ancestors did in the past, because no matter what, you can redeem yourself.
