A South-Bound Army
The party watched as the Revered army marched southward while they were heading north. On the side of the road obscured by trees, Karnell watched and clearly seethed watching them head southward.
Yohgï went over and wondered what he was doing there.
For YohgrïThe implications of this coming fight unsettled the party about how much time they may to handle things within Arvura.
Midway Camping
During the night, Yohgrï had two failed attempts at utilizing the Arcanum Infinitum to build a tower but there was a problem that caused the brickwork to fall over, nearly hitting Abbott’s wagon.
After things settled, Setesk stepped in and requested to be the party’s advisor as he was for Vicarion. With no show of declining, the party allowed it. Setesk then offered readings for Mysrie and Fernando.
Fernando’s ReadingsThe Writer. Pondering the details about the figure trapped in amber, Setesk saw how this Dark Power wanted to be more artistic in its handling of the Domains compared to the others. Though, it need not leave its “prison.”
Yohgrï the Pawn. Setesk saw a great irony. One who hates those who makes pawn of others using Yohgrï as a pawn for his own goals. To allow Karnell to win and defeat the Revered and Cult would mean ashes are all that remains. This domain’s Darklord would have served his usefulness and the Host would step in.
Henrietta’s Motives. Setesk saw something frightened and alone. An outcast inflicted with a condition condemning her an “unfortunate.” The city’s leader deemed her an unfortunate and she fled, the only refuge being the “village that still denies the city.”
After these readings, Fernando sought out Abbott, Henrietta, and Clovis to discuss things discreetly.
The Fernando-Clovis-Abbott-Henrietta HuddleFernando mentioned that, in his reading, Yohgrï was aiding Karnell and that by seemingly blind in doing so, would lead to Arvura’s destruction with the Nameless Host snuffing out the domain. It was inferred that Yohgrï didn’t have malicious intent in aiding Karnell.
The group believed it best that by leaving Arvura as soon as possible would be the best case scenario, considering that the army was already sent southward.
Once everyone went to their wagons, Henrietta approached Setesk with the Shattered mask as an offering for a reading. She wanted to see know how to possibly save Arvura if possible.
There are two pillars in Arvura: one cael, one vician. Should they both fall, likely by Karnell’s hand, the domain will likely collapse. However, both are quite powerful and Karnell cannot handle them both. Even then, so long as only one of these pillars stay standing, the domain will continue.
