Morning in East Harrow
Alben, the Woe Bard
In the morning, the party hears music off in the distance. Following it, they find an uncanny collection of commoners listening in to a pale elf playing the violin. With some scrutiny, they find out that the audience is really made up of Actors listening in. What music they sing backstage must come from this elf who listens to their woes.
Back at Camp
What Setesk had scried while the party was away spooking City Council was that undead were a problem in the Juniper Forest. The clockwork workers there are the main issue for the Enclave but compared to that, the dead were more of a nuisance wasting resources. With this in mind, Arnsley Dorian volunteered to join the party to utilize his talent in combating wretched undead.
Juniper Forest
Before heading in, the party found an "Under construction: Juniper Park" sign with Reginald Reeves advertising it. They promptly vandalized the already rotting sign.
Meeting Arbus
Arbus was found finishing off a cluster of clockworks harassing him. He was skeptical of the party's arrival until they mentioned seeking the Blade of Refined Radiance and fulfilling Andraich's oath.
Arbus then mentioned that scouts had gone in to investigate the source of the darkness in the tomb but hadn't returned. He advised to be on the lookout for the wood elves Semnee, Falion, and Taireen and the firbolg Bargus.
Corrupted Tomb
Looking down into the entrance, it is simply dark with no form of lighting. Even taking a few steps in, there is an awful stench of rot. The air feels dry and hard to breathe in. There is no denying that something has befouled this once sacred place.
Further down into the uncertain darkness you go. It's a terrible feeling of just walking into the jaws of a beast willingly. Down the hall, you see only a dimly-lit skeletal face grinning with glee, "A final chance to turn back and return to the light. If not, it may be the last you see of it." The face then retracts, submerging back in the shroud.
Into the tomb, the party found traps of hands that would claw when stepping on the tiles above them, pulling them down with desperation. They managed to avoid them. Except Yoghrï who got scraped up by one.
The party found a Null wraith influencing wretches to be obedient but the party recalled the "cure" by having a wretch remember who they were. By stating the names Arbus mentioned, the wretches began to fight the influencing presence. Only when the wraith invoked Its will did the wretches regain their composure to fight the party but the wraith's defeat freed them from its grasp and influence.
The party headed further down, finding a terrible source of dark power. Clovis investigated and managed to deduce that a Black Gateway is present and the Tyrant Mage made its presence known, beckoning the party to join the Host in gaining dark power.
The party moved on to a different room, finding the Blade of Refined Radiance. Once Henrietta picked it up, it awakened the Scather at the other end of the room.
