Ibu (eye-boo)
The Lord over Paradise
Ibu (a.k.a. The Patient Servant)
I prayed for countless days, months, and years to him, just hoping to catch a glimpse! I had withered in Triumvirate prisons begging for death at times but seeing Paradise was what kept me going. Many prisoners thought it was foolish, for no one would answer the prayers of a street thief if not Haven’s spirits. They were right at times but I needed something to cope.
Then one day, he answered. A glimmering man with a face similar to an owl’s came to me in my cell. With an outstretched palm, I grabbed onto it and he showed it to me! It certainly was a place of bounding wildlife with beautiful patterns of silver and blue on their coats. The flowers blossomed without any wilting to them and stood with freedom to sway instead of the wind’s demand. At the center felt like the heart of everything, for as it beat the rhythm of this world’s soul, a new wave of life flourished and danced with the old as it did before.
In my tears of joy, I pleaded with him of what I must do. Ibu told me with the softest voice that sounded as the hum of peace itself, “You have lived a life of taking from others. As my new pupil, you are to build a new foundation. When you give those around you the same energy as I have given you, only then can you be in that domain.”

The Patient Servant
When asking Ibu where he comes from, he simply recounts the story of his master. He remembers vague details of unending beauty, humble grace, and forgiveness without end. She told Ibu that a time was coming for her to go somewhere, leaving him to watch over Paradise’s wellbeing.
To this day, Ibu waits patiently despite never knowing what trace she left behind or what fate has become of her. As a loyal servant, Ibu still looks over Paradise, tending to fields of unyielding grains and trees of mighty majesty.
