Return of the Sculptors

The Coming of the Creators

They sculpted the world and they shall have their chisels ready when they return to their masterpiece.

— Claress

Summary

The Coming of the Creators is a prophecy made by Claress, the founder of the school of Divination. During the Restoration Era, she was hoping to find more ways to spur on new growth and healing in the world through a typical trance. What she saw required her attendants to record things for her.

She saw strange coffins. Hollow creatures still alive and in great pain, for something had been removed from their bodies. What keeps them at peace is the company of a lone figure in yellow robes, assumed to be Kordgelle. There, the lone figure told stories about the happenings in the world but they were not truthful. These false stories were told to let the pained creatures be at ease in their rest.

Hoping to probe further about this mystery, Claress used a lot of her arcane strength to look into the past about what this all could be about. As before, her attendants had to write down what she saw. Once again, there Kordgelle was, but he wasn’t alone. There were far more kindred like him and they sculpted the cosmos as they saw fit. But there was a horrifying glimpse. She saw an ocean swallow nearly an entire continent, dragon armies descending down to burn entire forests, and more grand scale warring.

With these two visions conjoined, she predicted that these Creators shall return, arrive, or whatever would be the proper wording. All she knows, is that they will come back.

Historical Basis

A lot of this prediction’s evidence is based on the recordings of Claress’ attendants during her two core trances she went into. She even wrote the prediction herself. Scholars have attempted to recreate what she saw and have concluded that they can’t recreate what she saw. For some, it’s unnerving and Kordgelle could be plotting something. For others, it’s a prediction that is ruined by lack of protections to keep the mind stable during the trance, thus impacting the accuracy of those foresights.

Spread

Coalition members, that being the Feydom Confederacy, Dominion of Argatok, and Vrexen, are the main group that this prediction has spread to.
