Misela Ferumar
Misela Ferumar was born into a noble family of humans in the city of Sarvin, a bastion of culture and trade. She had a privileged life, surrounded by wealth, beauty, and learning during the times of the Blood Mist. She was a skilled fighter, adept at using swords and crossbows. She dreamed of becoming a knight and a leader, following the footsteps of her ancestors.
But her fate changed when the Rust Church increased their influence in Sarvin during the Blood Mist, seeking to overthrow the present rule. Misela's family was among the first victims, killed in their mansion. Misela barely escaped, but not before witnessing the horror of the cultist's attack.
She fled to the nearby Orc forest, hoping to find refuge among the Orcs or other fled humans. But she soon realized, that she was not welcome there. The Orcs despised the city humans, blaming them for angering the Rust Church and bringing ruin to their lands. They treated Misela with contempt and hostility, calling her a traitor and a coward.
Misela had no choice but to leave the forest and wander the world through the Blood Mist, looking for a place to belong. She faced many dangers and hardships, from bandits and beasts to hunger and cold. She learned to survive by any means necessary, using her weapons and wits to fend off her enemies. She also learned to hate, to resent the world that had taken everything from her.
She eventually found her way to Grindbone, a slaver town north of the Orc forests, where the law of the jungle prevailed. There, she joined the bounty hunter and slaver guild, offering her services as a hunter and a fighter. She quickly rose through the ranks, earning respect and fear for her skills and especially her ruthlessness. Within 4 years she became the head of the guild, commanding a loyal and fierce group of hunters and slavers.
She made a fortune by capturing and selling various creatures once the Blood Mist vanished, from humans and elves to dwarves and halflings. She especially enjoyed hunting down Orcs, seeing them as cowards. She took pleasure in torturing and breaking them, making them pay for their sins. She also sought revenge against the Rust Church, hunting them down whenever she could. She collected their masks, robes, and daggers as trophies, hoping to one day face their dark god himself.
Despite her beautiful and perhaps innocent appearance Misela Ferumar became known as the Church Slayer, the most feared and hated bounty hunter and slaver in the land. She had no friends, no allies, no love. She had only her guild, her gold, and her grudge. She had lost her noble heritage, her dreams, and her soul. She had become a monster, just like the ones she hunted.
