The bard finished his latest set to satisfy the crowd's relentless requests. His music was starting to circulate well beyond the walls of the Wandering Spirits, as were his feats of daring and skill. He also noticed there were some familiar faces from the Yawning Portal in attendance, all of them equally enthusiastic in their cheers and the coins they tossed into his hat. When most of the adoring crowd had dispersed, one more patron dropped a collection of coins into the collection hat, Nomad nodding in approval at the display.
"Have you taken a liking to the performing arts, Nomad?" Illidrex posed after a humble bow.
"If it's you performing, absolutely. Glad to support a friend. And Callum. You can call me Callum."
Illidrex paused for a moment. "Friends? Is that what we are, Callum?"
The paladin shrugged, but offered his hand. "If you'd count me among yours, then I'd be grateful to do the same. If not, I still want you to know how grateful I am for what you did. I'm not the best at saying thank you, but what you did for me and for Zora...that's an easy task, and one worth doing. I'd be honored to repay you, if I can."
