Session 08: A Romp Around Waterdeep

General Summary

The session begins with the party just decimating the tiefling before he could run away. After killing him, he reverts to his true form; a doopleganger.
An imp (disguised as a raven) then snatches the stone, before its incapaciated by the party. Finally, some street urchins run off with it...

In the Sewers (Again)

• The gang follows three kids into the sewer, quickly finding their hideout.
• As usual, Gwen makes threats and traumatises kids.
• She also fired a warning shot while they were running off, dw about it.
• The kids claim to have dropped the stone bc it "spoke to them" in their mind.
• Eventually, one of the children (who is mute) leads the party to where the stone is dropped.
• Maisie is able to grab the stone from beneath a rocking chair.
• Turns out the rocking chair is a mimic...
• But y'all kick its ass including Madame H with some cheeky toll of the deads
• Stone in hand y'all leave the sewer.

Woop Woop, that's the sound of the police

• So turns out your escapades were noticed, so the City Watch arrests you on charges of disturbing the peace, destruction of city property and brandishing weapons in public without due cause.
• Y'all got thrown into jail cells, and spent the night there.
• The next morning, everyone is bought to the showers (ladies and then gentlemen) and offered plain but clean clothes.

The session ended with y'all being bought before the Magister and awaiting your trial.
