General Summary

Part 3: The Spider's Web (continued)

1. Session began with the party having killed their would-be captors as well as Grista who assisted them
2. Sildar Hallwinter, having heard a report of the commotion at the Sleeping Giant, went to investigate and found the party putting their attackers to rest
3. Revealing their past and pleading their case to Sildar Hallwinter, and him knowing the other heroic deeds the party had done, the party was able to convince him that they were the victims in this attack and had only defended themselves as appropriate
4. The party having left the slave boss, Kellen, alive, they turned him over to Sildar Hallwinter to take into custody for the assault
5. The gnomes then acquired the left behind cage cart and promptly bartered it to Elmar Barthen for some gold and supplies
6. The party then set out for Wyvern Tor to investigate the orc base that they had heard about there
7. Just barely catching the lead scout in time, the gnomes were able to take the orcs in the cave by surprise and dealt with them handily
8. After looting the orc base, the party headed to Cragmaw Castle to engage the goblin fortress with the hopes of rescueing Gundren Rockseeker
9. The session ended just as the party stormed into the front doors of the castle
