Starting my journey with a fish person

My name is Leo Kennedy and I have decided to go on journey.
Five years ago I obtained a curse from the cult of the dragon, in the same night I lost everything. I lost my village, friends and family.
After that incident I was discovered by a dwarven wizard Dyno Stoneheart.
He has taken me under his wing and taught me the ways of the wizard.
2 days ago I have met this weird fish person while fishing. His name Sidon of the triton race. A species of the plane of water.
He told me he was exiled and that he was super important. I also noticed he wasn't the smartest so I should take this with a grain of salt.
He has taken interest of the surface world and wanted to explore it. After talking to him for while I decided to join to maybe fix my curse.
After talking to my teacher, he has told to go to Lohona a village in a forest.
It may have the answers I need.
