Meltharond was a once-powerful wizard-ruler and former consort and companion of the White Dragon Arveiaturace.

Personal history
Meltharond was once the ruler of Ice Peak, a frigid island south of the Sea of Moving Ice.
He died at some point during or before the Year of the Tankard, 1370 DR, but his body stayed with Arveiaturace for over a century afterwards. The White Dragon refused to accept Meltharond's death, and his frigid remains were bound to his saddle strapped on her back.

Contacts & Relations
At some point in their relationship, Meltharond was considered to be Arveiaturace's master. The White Dragon served as his aerial steed, and he instructed her in the arcane arts. They became close friends, lovers, and in fact, Meltharond was the only being that Arveiaturace ever truly confided to.
