Takari Laurelil (a.k.a. 'Kari)
Takari is slight of build (5’5, 110lbs) with lighter skin than a typical wood elf. Her long hair is a rich chocolate brown and often worn pulled back. Her almond shaped eyes are a dark forest green with flecks of gold throughout. Her features are balanced and attractive with a small nose, full lips and clear skin. However, these features are marred by a prominent scar running down the right side of her face from the bridge of her nose/corner of her eye to nearly the bottom of her ear.
It is clear she takes pride in her appearance and equipment, she is well groomed and her gear is meticulously clean.

Personal history
Born in Suldanessellar raised by her parents (Her father, Elurian, was a wood elf, her mother, Tanna, a wood elf/moon elf cross) she also has a younger sister named Tiristiel. Takari was an outgoing, friendly child with many friends. She is a natural cook, and also quite skilled in hunting and fishing. She enjoys cooking for others.
As a child she rarely left Suldanessellar, aside from traveling with hunting parties. One evening, as they grew nearer to ‘adulthood’, her two closest friends, Brielle and Erendial talked her into investigating a camp near to their dwelling. There was a rumor that the party camped nearby had some unusual members, including perhaps a dragonborn. Naturally curious, Takari reluctantly agreed to join her friends and have a look. The party was friendly, and indeed had a dragonborn warrior among them, which was definitely a curiosity to the wood elves. They spent hours listening to tales of adventure, sharing drinks with the traveling party, generally having a lovely time.
The three of them returned to their conclave at dawn, enthusiastically planning their own adventures to be met by unexpected tragedy, their home was ravaged by a drow hunting party. As the sun was rising among the chaos, she spotted a solitary male drow fleeing the area, dragging Tiristiel with him. Takari ran him down and attempted to save her sister, but failed miserably in her inexperience. The drow slashed her face open, leaving her lay, assuming she was dead. Her two friends eventually found her unconscious body in the forest and brought her back to their decimated home. The entire enclave, aside from those three and her abducted sister, was destroyed. She found her parents’ lifeless bodies in the ruins
Takari’s two friends sought to find another clan to join near Suldanessellar, but Takari vowed to attempt to find and save her sister. Knowing she was too young and inexperienced to avenge her sister alone, but determined to do so, she gathered her meager belongings and slipped away from her friends to track the adventurers she had met the night before. After a few days she managed to find the party and joined with them. They agreed let her travel with them as far as Waterdeep. She begged them to help her find the drow and exact revenge, but they knew it was too daunting a task. Takari vowed to make it to Waterdeep with this group, then find employment allowing her to hone her skills, so she may hunt for her lost sister.
