The Akanamere

The Akanamere is a huge freshwater lake that stands in the center of the Akanûl empire. Little enough is known about these lands since the Spellplague ravaged the area, but those who have observed it from afar have discerned huge floating islands that drift above the lake's surface. Massive temples to strange creatures and foreign Gods adorn the graven cliff faces of these magically suspended islands.
