Order of the Mark

The order of the Mark was a knight's order in Cormyr founded sometime after the fall of Thay in the late 15th century DR. Comprised of plane-touched, tiefling and other half-breed knights, the order was unique in allowing these races into its ranks. They were often sent into the Thaycreep on what would be considered suicide missions for most. Because of the kingdom's disregard for their safety, the order became experts on the Thaycreep and battling undead. These battle-hardened knights have garnered a fearsome reputation among the nobility of Cormyr and are highly sought-after for expeditions into Thay.
The order is headquartered in a monastery in the Stormhorns mountains called The Last Bastion (or "the bastion" for short) and led by Grand Master Ardek Lorens.
Dorn, one of The Hellraisers, was a member of the order of the mark.
