Rickon Brambleberry

This 8-year-old heir to the Brambleberry estate in Nesme stole a wand of polymorph from his tutor and turned a delegation of traveling merchants into woodland creatures. The Forsaken Company agreed to gather them all and return them to their original shapes. In a tense confrontation with the child, Baen shot him in the leg so that he would drop the wand.
The group discovered that his mother had killed his father after discovering that he had been unfaithful, then killed herself. He was told that they had died in a bandit attack while traveling. His primary caretaker was Theodoric Carter, the groundskeeper of the estate.
