Session 21: Yester Hill

General Summary

The party makes their way from Valaki to the werewolf den to the north of Kresk. Before arriving, they encounter a strange undead creature on the road towards Kresk, he simply tells them that they are being summoned by Sir Godfrey Gwilym. No other informatino is given.  
Upon arriving they stroll into the main entrance where they are attacked by two guards. With the alarm being sounded they find themselves in a battle with about 10 werewolves. Cormack yells out that they should give up the girl, and the wolves pause their attack. At the same time, a young lady appears and claims that she is the missing girl, Karila Estovan, the daughter of the tanner that you have been searching for. It turns out she was not taken against her will and she is in love with the leader of the werewovles, Kiril Stoyanovich. She gives the players a necklace and tell them to give her father assurances that she is ok.
The players, after befriending the wolves, rest up and head out towards the Wizard of Wines, but not before learning that Sir Godfrey was a member of the Order of the Silver Dragon which resided in Arghonvaustholt. 
Upon arriving at the Wizards of Wine, they encounter Davion Marticov. He mentions the green gem has ben solen by the druids. He also mentions he is hesitant to trust the party given their deeds in Valaki. He tells them he will assist them in restoring the Fane if they can retrieve the stone from the druids at Yester Hill. The party agrees to hunt down the druids and they proceed to the hill.
Once there they find a prayer circle on top of a huge hill. As they approach, they find a ritual circle with a large statue of Strahd. They burn the wooden statue and as they enter the ritual area they are attacked by 6 druids and two tree blights. The players are able to best them but at a great cost to their resources. The players see off in the distance a grove and a large tree with a skeleton sitting at its base.
