A young druid, Khazan, became the first custodian of the Amber Temple, keeping the purpose of the temple secret and protecting the valley from the darkness. Khazan learned magic, becoming a great wizard, and trained other druids to become wizards of the secret order protecting the Amber Temple. Khazan eventually returned to the valley, living out his life in his lone tower to study magic and offer his knowledge to those who sought it.
