Appearance

This cloak is of patchwork leather stitched together, created from the tanned skin of a variety of demons. No matter how often it is washed, it always smells faintly of brimstone.

Mechanics

This cloak functions as a Cloak of Protection for any attuned wearer (+1 to AC & saves).

Dark One's Sacrifice: If the attuned individual is a warlock with a fiendish patron, the cloak allows the wearer to channel their fiendish blessings into their offensive spells. Whenever they deal damage with a spell, they may sacrifice all the temporary hit points they have to deal extra damage. This extra damage is equal to twice the number of temporary HP expended (for example, if they sacrifice 14 temporary hit points, they deal 28 extra damage). If the spell affects multiple targets, this damage is only applied once. If the target is a demon, the extra damage instead equals three times the number of sacrificed HP (if they sacrifice 14 temporary hit points, they deal 42 extra damage)
