Lerissa grew up in a large city and quickly learned to leverage her looks & silver tongue to get ahead. She was a charlatan, scamming people out of money to get by, until one day she had a child. This single, life changing event led her to realize the harm she had done to the world. Even so, she knew she was unfit to raise the child. She ran one last scam to get her child adopted by a wealthy, kind family. Then she set out into the world, determined to make it a better place...Though she was not above dealing with unsavory powers in order to do it.

Personality

Lerissa's altruism was tempered with realism. Having grown up in a hard life, she learned the value of loyalty even as she learned to lie. As such she is dedicated to those she considers her friends and family.

Goals & Motivations

Lerissa wants to make the world better for the child who won't know her. She is currently delving deep in Undermountain; though she was sent there as fulfillment for the pact she made with a certain devil, she hopes that doing so will increase her wealth & power so that she can make a real difference afterwards.

History

Not long after giving her child up for adoption, Lerissa delved into the arcane arts. She did not want to waste time in some stuffy library, however, so she did what power hungry seekers always do when they're in a hurry: She made a deal with the devil.

Later, Lerissa joined the expedition to the Forge of Fury, and finally entered Undermountain on orders from her patron.
