Caithe is one of the firstborn of the Bungai race and Iloh's former "favorite." Caithe is seen as an "older sister" by the rest of the Bungai and an authority figure. Caithe is a kind individual that now only seeks to protect her brethren from falling under the sway of another wizard with mind control. Caithe is great with animals due to her kind nature and is respectful of those she meets.
Caithe is an older Bungai, one of the firstborn of her race. Iloh had kept her as a "favorite" servant to oversee the rest before the creation of Mordremoth. Even after, she was charged with overseeing the tree and ensuring the experiments went well. Caithe wasn't treated with any more love than any other of Iloh's creations but she knew nothing else and Iloh made it clear he would destroy her if she disobeyed. Eventually, Caithe developed a personality of her own and grew to desire freedom and escape from Iloh.
