Church of Dumathoin

Dumathoin, known as the Keeper of Secrets Under the Mountain, is the patron of shield dwarves and the god of mining and underground exploration. His symbol is a cut, faceted gem inside a mountain.

Dumathoin's clerics, known as the talhund ("hidden gifts"), protect mines from disrespectful profiteers as well and seek out new veins and gem deposits. They also supervise mining activities to ensure that the proper respect was paid to the mountain and produce new stratagems and combat techniques for fighting any Underdark creatures exhumed during excavation.
