Gareth "Gary" Xandier (a.k.a. Drowbane)
Gareth Drowbane Xandier, is commonly known as “Gary” as named by his friends and his fellow clan mates of his goliath brethren. Gary’s goliath tribe is home in the high and cold, wintery Nether Mountains.
Gary’s tribe has had a long and seeded history of conflict with the drow, conflicts that commonly ended in bloodshed. Shoved to their heels from constantly battling this foe, Gary's clan, desperate, set out to seek aid, seeking a power to help them through the troubling times. They found this power.
The power came to them in the form of primal nature beings. Shamans, Sorcerers and Barbarian of his tribe alike, set out their journeys to attune to these guardians, empowering them to fight back their enemy. Each of his tribe members must head out into the land and seek out one of these primal beings to connect with; be it far in the woods, high in the mountains or deep in the ocean.
High in the mountains, Gary sought just such a being. Months he endured the harsh weather and bone-chilling cold till one day, a primal being did indeed approach him. The being took the form of tall and hairy humanoid figure, covered in white fur over dark skin, resembling the form of a yeti. Gary formed a bond with this primal being, it bestowed its strength on to the newborn berserker.
Gary returned to his people as an empowered Berserker, walking the Path of the Primal Guardian, a menacing force drow will not forget.
When it comes to friendship, Gary holds this above all else, sticking up for his friends whenever they need, even if it results in some unlawful activity. After too many accounts of violent, intoxicated bar fights and an excessive gambling debt, Gary was exiled from the tribe, marked as a menace, and forced to leave his home. Even though now without a home, Gary’s loathing hatred for drow continued to grow. Pressing his hunt to eliminate his long-hated enemy, Gary signed on as a mercenary recruit for a dwarven band batting the very foe he seeks to vanquish. He served this dwarven band well as he demonstrated countless times his endless thirst to eradicate his quarry, earning him the title of “Drowbane”.

Gary is a massive bulk of towering muscle, standing above 7 feet tall, a being who wears the face of a brutish and weathered combatant. He has no hair visible over his pale, bald head, instead, he wears dark tribal tattoos that stretch over his skull, running down, across his face; these are the markings of his clan, his people of the mountains.

He commonly wears plate armor crafted over strips of animal hide and furs. Gary is always brandishing his prized weapons of choice: his maul and his two axes at his side.
