Trollbark Forest

The Trollbark Forest is located along the Sword Coast, north of the Troll Hills. It is dense and filled with thorny, poisonous, and carnivorous foliage of various types. Mundane varieties of trees that can be found here included twisted oaks, black ashes, and scrub pines. Its low vales are clogged with bogs and swamps. It is a perfect environment for its primary inhabitants, trolls. Giant two-headed trolls are known to frequently gather and rule mobs of trolls and their allies. The forest is largely devoid of birds and small woodland creatures, having been wiped out by the forest's monstrous inhabitants.

The trolls of the forest regularly communicate with the trolls in the Trollclaws, and raid as far north as the Lizard Marsh, as far east as the High Moor, and as far south as the Trollclaw Ford.

Within deep caverns of this forest live a small number of deepspawn, whose children are fed upon by trolls whenever food is scarce.
