Friendly Arm Inn

The Friendly Arm is a walled hamlet on the Coast Way between Baldur's Gate and the town of Beregost. The most prominent building around the hamlet is the stone keep which houses the titular inn, which is run by Bentley Mirrorshade. This establishment is a popular stop for people traveling on the Coast Road.
At the Friendly Arm, peace is secured by the guards, who insist that all weapons be left at the gate and that all magic users tie one thumb to their belts, a practice that spilled over to fighting monks as well.
The barmaids are rumored to be iron golems camouflaged as women by illusory means.
