Seven Sisters

The Seven Sisters are seven near-immortal women, all Chosen of Mystra and daughters of the goddess Mystra. They arere all spellcasters born to the ranger Dornal Silverhand and his wife Elué Silverhand, whom Mystra possessed to give birth to the children.   Only four of the Seven Sisters' whereabouts are known - two have remained known throughout their lives, but another two vanished and were presumed dead before their appearance at Candlekeep during the Second Sundering. The remaining three are all missing, presumed dead by those who know of their histories.

The Sisters

  • Anastra Syluné Silverhand, more commonly known as Syluné, the kindly Witch of Shadowdale, who was slain by a red dragon but remained in Faerûn as a ghostly spectral harpist. She is believed to have been destroyed by the actions of the Church of Shar.
  • Alustriel Silverhand, the regal but unashamed former High Lady of Silverymoon and founder of the nation of the Silver Marches.
  • Dove Falconhand, a ranger of the Silver Marches and renowned knight of Myth Drannor, whose magic is second to her skill at arms.
  • Storm Silverhand, a famous and much-loved Harper and Bard of Shadowdale, who, despite sometimes appearing flighty, had taken it upon herself to protect and care for the people of her home dale to the best of her abilities.
  • Laeral Silverhand, the radiant and good-hearted Open Lord of Waterdeep and Leader of the Lords' Alliance, and former consort to the Blackstaff Khelben Arunsun.
  • The Simbul, whose birth name is known by few. The Witch Queen of the eastern kingdom of Aglarond, former lover of Elminster and once the most powerful sorceress in all Faerûn.
  • Qilué Veladorn, the Dark Sister, not widely known like her sisters - probably a good thing for she was a drow (born to Mystra in exceptionally odd circumstances), but also a fair and mighty priestess of both Mystra and the drow goddess Eilistraee. She was slain by the Lady Penitent, Halisstra Melarn, but is believed to have lived on as a Weaveghost.
