Aesop

Aesop mostly wears eye wraps over the top half of his head, obscuring the indentations where his eyes would be and his short, vibrant red hair. He is rarely without his trusty friend Chaucer.
Abandoned at birth, presumably because he was born without eyes, Aesop grew up in an orphanage in Waterdeep. He always wanted to laugh and play with the other children, but the guardians wouldn't allow him to leave fearing he would get lost. When he reached puberty, a tiny sprite made its way to him and helped guide him through the large city. He then found a discarded lute on the city streets and realized he had a natural affinity for playing music. Aesop began traveling the world spreading joy to villages and towns. While traveling he was captured by the denizens/trolls of Briarwood.
