Surina Prexilmorev, the Queen of Relmaur, dies under mysterious circumstances.

A covert resistance movement against the usurping of the throne by Medrash Nemonis attempts to take Queen Surina and her egg away from Relmaur, hoping to smuggle her by ship to Faerun. Sadly, Surina is mortally wounded in the process. Resistance agent Tara Shaw is able to smuggle the unhatched egg of Surina and Medrash to Faerun, making it as far as Velen before being captured by bounty hunters.
