Brews

Brews, much to the likeness of potions, are drinkable items with certain effects attached to them.

• Brews are consumed via a bonus action in combat, or for free outside of combat.
• An action can be expended to give a brew to another player. They will then have to expend a bonus action of their own to use it.
• Due to their extreme alcoholic makeup, a player can only use three of them per short rest without adding a level of exhaustion.
• Using brewer's supplies, one can create brews of their own, provided they have the necessary ingredients.
• Brews are not able to be consumed by races incapable of taking in liquids. Quibbos are able to ingest them.
• Shopkeepers at inns, bars, and breweries tend to sell brews- but with little stock and high cost.
• Those with the "Alchemical Transmutation" feat can convert currency into brews.
• Dispel magic can be used to nullify the effects of a brew.

• Hearty Brew - Heals the player for 1d8+2. Sold for 2-5 silver. Can be made with brewing supplies at the cost of some distilled water, a horn, and 2 silver worth of gemstone dust.
• Very Hearty Brew - Heals the player for 2d8+3. Sold for 6-9 silver. Can be made with brewing supplies at the cost of some distilled water, a horn, and 6 silver worth of gemstone dust.
• Extremely Hearty Brew - Heals the player for 3d8+4. Sold for 1-5 gold. Can be made with brewing supplies at the cost of some distilled water, a horn, and 1 gold worth of gemstone dust.
• The Heartiest Brew - Heals the player for 4d8+5. Sold for 6-9 gold. Can be made with brewing supplies at the cost of some distilled water, a horn, and 6 gold worth of gemstone dust.
• Gambler's Hearty Brew - Heals the player for 5d8. Sold for 2-4 gold. Can be made with brewing supplies at the cost of some distilled water, a horn, and 2 gold worth of gemstone dust.
• Curing Brew - Removes the poisoned condition. Sold for 2-4 gold. Can be made with brewing supplies at the cost of some distilled water, a horn, and 2 gold worth of gemstone dust.
• Courage Brew - Removes the frightened condition. Sold for 2-4 gold. Can be made with brewing supplies at the cost of some distilled water, a horn, and 2 gold worth of gemstone dust.

Resistance Brews, lasts for eighteen seconds (three rounds of combat).

• Scorching Brew (Cold Resistance) - Sold for 2-4 gold. Can be made with brewing supplies at the cost of some distilled water, a horn, and 2 gold worth of gemstone dust.
• Freezing Brew (Fire Resistance) - Sold for 2-4 gold. Can be made with brewing supplies at the cost of some distilled water, a horn, and 2 gold worth of gemstone dust.
• Thickening Brew (Lightning Resistance) - Sold for 2-4 gold. Can be made with brewing supplies at the cost of some distilled water, a horn, and 2 gold worth of gemstone dust.
• Brew of Padding (Acid Resistance) - Sold for 2-4 gold. Can be made with brewing supplies at the cost of some distilled water, a horn, and 2 gold worth of gemstone dust.
• Radiant Brew (Necrotic Resistance) - Sold for 2-4 gold. Can be made with brewing supplies at the cost of some distilled water, a horn, and 2 gold worth of gemstone dust.
• Antidotal Brew (Poison Damage Resistance) - Sold for 2-4 gold. Can be made with brewing supplies at the cost of some distilled water, a horn, and 2 gold worth of gemstone dust.
• Brew of Nirvana (Psychic Resistance) - Sold for 2-4 gold. Can be made with brewing supplies at the cost of some distilled water, a horn, and 2 gold worth of gemstone dust.
• Darkening Brew (Radiant Resistance) - Sold for 2-4 gold. Can be made with brewing supplies at the cost of some distilled water, a horn, and 2 gold worth of gemstone dust.
• Dampening Brew (Thunder Resistance) - Sold for 2-4 gold. Can be made with brewing supplies at the cost of some distilled water, a horn, and 2 gold worth of gemstone dust.
• Dragon's Brew (Bludgeoning and Slashing Resistance) - Sold for 2-4 platinum. Can be made with brewing supplies at the cost of some distilled water, a horn, and 2 platinum worth of gemstone dust.
• Golem's Brew (Piercing Resistance) - Sold for 1-2 platinum. Can be made with brewing supplies at the cost of some distilled water, a horn, and 1 platinum worth of gemstone dust.
