Feather Tree

Feather trees resemble Prythwyn's twisting sycamore trees, but with much longer and sharper leaves. Their name derives from their use as a substitute for a feather as an arrow's fletching. Fletchers and bowyers in Alterra have completely ditched the use of feathers in exchange for these leaves, which are much easier to gather and utilize.

Feather trees also also have medicinal value in the form of sap. Their sap can be used as a crude glue, sealing up wounds and sticking objects together. Explorers have also attempted to put it in food or in drinks, but it unfortunately proves to be an extremely effective laxative.
