Dead Island is a peninsula on Volta that was home to the first settlers here, it was not a peaceful time at all as the first clans wanted full power over Volta and did not wish to share. Over the years so many fights and wars broke out on the small beginning colonies that in the end Dead Island was covered in too much death and decay to be used as a place to either plant or raise a city. The great losses over the years are why in the end the four colonies split the island making a treaty with the original inhabitants, they also forbade anyone from settling on the peninsula saying that the legions of dead there should have their peace and not be disturbed by more advancement in growth of the colonies.
