Warrior King Titus Jorag slays Bromgull the Skullcleaver at the battle of the Ford
    Military action

Titus and his Knights attempt to stop Bromgull's army from crossing Gya's river ford and massacring the farmers and rural villages. Titus' army barely makes it in time, and a bloody fight ensues. The battle bode poorly for the vastly outnumbered knights and hastily armed militias, and Bromgull's forces had the upper hand. Titus and Bromgull met amongst the blood soaked waters of the ford, and Titus dueled Bromgull to the death. Titus the Warrior and Bromgull sloshed in the mud and blood as one charged the other and traded blows. Bromgull was stronger than Titus, but his victories and slaughters had made him arrogant and over confident, and Titus was able to use this to his advantage and gain the upper hand. Titus lost his right eye in the fighting, but Bromgull lost his head, and the Knights and militias of Averheim rallied to their king and drove the creatures of darkness back across Gya's river ford, almost completely annihalating the enemy host.
