Duradhim

“Sound Logic. Straight Edges.” The ore rich country of the Dwarves. Some say Duradhim was blessed by the Forge of the Gods and has yielded multitudes of precious metals and advanced ore mining technologies that the other countries could only hope to achieve. The country is a massive city-state, with huge quarries spanning canyons and deep mining systems. The Rulers of Duradhim use a council and democratic system to govern themselves. Due to its immense size, the city-country is divided into wards with individual councils leading these wards. At the head of the councils are one elected official to represent each Ward to the High Council. Despite the mystique surrounding the country, there is no state religion. In fact, very little religious presence can be felt at large; the populous is more concerned with scientific advancement and logic. Many mechanical marvels come out of Duradhim foundries. Duradhim possesses a portal to the Plane of Absolute Law, also known as Mechanus which is the reason for their mechanical success.
