Reyness

“Yondar is great for tourism. Fun festivals” Reynes is the timeless Kingdom of the Elves. It is separated from the continent of Moradin by the Ghost Sea. The landmass that makes up this continent is named Esora. The Elves have dominated Reynes for as long as time can remember. The High Elves who settled the land during the Waking Age of their history clashed briefly with the Wood Elves who were native to the large swaths of woodland forestry. In only four decades did the two groups come to peaceful terms and began to coexist. The High Elves built their cities and the Wood Elves stayed within their forests. Together the group rule the Kingdom of Reynes collectively with a Wood Elven Queen and High Elven Queen, or vice versa, tying the two sub-races together. Their borders are open and taxed for travel to and from. The standing army for Reynes is more capable of defensive tactics than offensive, a testament to their constantly manned wall around their borders. The wall itself is an engineering marvel. Easily supporting the massive troop movements required of maintaining such an empire and sprawling trade system to any point of the country. The main unspoken focus of Reynes is profit. Always about the bottom line. Though Elves are not unknown to corruption and frequently have small civil disputes within the Kingdom, which the ruling family is quick to put out, less word reaches the other countries of civil instability. Despite their open trade agreement, they are not in the political loop of other countries as they seem to be dealing with their constant warring neighbours in Gur’hal and Gral’ur. Officially, they support the Gur’hal war bands over the Gral’ur.
