Frost Hearth

Small community built upon the ruins of an old fortress.

In the center of Frost Hearth stands an ancient brazier known as the Flamekeep, said to have burned without end since the fort was first built centuries ago. The settlers view the brazier as a sacred relic, believed to be a blessing from an old fire god to keep the fort warm against the biting cold. It’s tended day and night, with each family taking shifts to ensure it never dies out, and the village holds monthly "Kindling Rites," where elders retell stories of the fort’s mysterious past by its light.
