When the first men came to the world it was not of their own volition. As the Spelljammer crashed into the land the slaves aboard where set free of their bonds as the shell of the ship fell apart around them. The orcs, ogres, dwarves, elves, and more, fled from the crash site and fled to the various corners of the land that they now inhabited.
Over the centuries that would pass from the crash of the Spelljammer the slaves would slowly develop civilizations from the rubble of the ship. Orcs would discover magic, Ogres developed powers of the mind, and gnomes mastered the skies. These developments would lead to wars, however, as power corrupts absolutely.
