trade market

Every item has a star rank to classify it. you want to trade an item for another item instead of money then the trade market is the place to go. the ranks from least - most are.
Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond,
every rank consists of five stars and goes up one rank if the number of stars exceed five and the extra lower rank star is kept. for example.
EX 1.(if you have five bronze stars on an item and another bronze star is added then it upgrades to one silver star and retains the bronze star.)
EX 2.(If you have an item with one gold star and five silver stars and a silver star is added it will turn into a item with two gold stars and one silver star.)

• some items can have multiple star ranks filled or or almost filled.

• an item with stars of every rank filled then it is the best item you can get.

• star value and monetary value are separate but can relate to each other.

• the reason the star ranks are the way they are is so rankings can be more diverse instead of one level being assigned to an item
• star ranks change every month so if you have a 5 star diamond item next month it might not be that and vice versa.
• some people will only trade for equal or higher star ranks.
• some people are willing to trade for lower star ranks if it will sell higher monetarily.
• some people will only trade if they themselves like the item.
• star ranks are based on popularity and supply and demand so even if they change every month not every item is subject to change
• there are people assigned to appraise and give items a basic star rank.
• you can pay money to give a cheap item a high star rank by appraisers so even if it sells for cheap you can trade for an expensive item. this is why some only trade what they like instead of based on stars.
• if you have a cheap item that has a high star rank then think of it as a something exclusive to the trade market.

Now we have the black trade market. the star ranks work the same but just with more taboo items. all star ranks are usually high because of the rarity of the items traded. normal drugs have low star ranks and things like body parts or a certain persons genetic data are high rank. there is no set location but there are illegal gathering hubs.
