Terminus

Terminus is an uninhabited planet 50,000 light years from Trantor, seat of the Empire.
It is located near Thespin and Anacreon in the Outer Reach of the Empire. Terminus orbits a red-dwarf star.
Its seasons are extreme and it is metal and mineral poor.
Dr. Hari Seldon and the Foundation are banished from Trantor and exiled to this remote outpost.
As we later find out, this was Dr. Seldon's hope all along.
The journey from Trantor to Terminus is 878 days on a slow-ship.
