Florintina (Floor-in-tina)
A master of the ways of trade and finances, Florintina is the goddess of commerce. She is revered among many of the rich merchant families of Ásaterra as an icon of good trade and a paragon of amassed wealth. For this reason she is often honoured during large trade deals and the symbols of her might adorn the marketplaces of Ásaterra.
It is said that Florintina is very happily married to Mordon, as the two of them make a very effective team, with Florintina both selling the lesser artefacts that Mordon creates and using her connections to acquire the rare materials Mordon uses to create her finest work. It is for this reason that the pair often share the same temples and are honoured as a pair, as their relationship is seen as the epitome of prosperity.

Divine Symbols & Sigils
Florintina sometimes chooses to survey the mortal world as an owl, a creature that observes much and misses little detail, ensuring that the wheels of trade keep turning. She is also represented by a masquerade mask, as she is often shown in artistic depictions as wearing a golden metal half-mask made for her by Mordon.
Holidays
Carnivale is a festival which takes place once a year for two weeks across the west. It is particularly popular in Gnola. Carnivale is in celebration of the Goddess Florintina, deity of commerce. The festival consists of many competitions and celebrations; firework displays, food stalls, jugglers and performers. On the final night, everyone who wishes to participate dons a mask and heads out into the city to revel. The mask provides the reveller with anonymity to party as they see fit, and many participants adopt pseudonyms for the night. The festival is policed by the Ninfee, highly respected western mages who train at the prestigious Ninfee Academy. Weapons must be left at the doors; although there may be a few fist fights or brawls, such alterations are swiftly dealt with. Murder and theft are forbidden as usual, and any incidents will be dealt with severely.
It is a festival of equality: pulling rank will result in fines. All participants of Carnivale are seen as equals.
