Ragtag
"It's truly surreal to be the Bull in Ragtag. The perfectly lined grid allows for creative planning to stump your opponent. And being the Runner is an adrenaline rush, but if you know the game you can turn the tables on your opponent. When you're the Runner, you have an infinite amount of tracks to place on your grid in order to a make it across to the opposite side. The one restriction for the Runner is that the player may only have one line at the end of the course. The Bull needs to strategically place a limited amount of tracks in order to stump the runner on where he might place his tracks. At the end of the time limit, the two players reveal their boards. If the Runner stepped on one of the Bull's tracks, he has to spend ten seconds in a ring with a wild bull. If the Runner doesn't land on the tracks, the Bull player must spend 15 seconds with a bull. These times stack for each consecutive time you lose (i.e. Round 1: 10 seconds, Round 2: 20 seconds, …). I'm going against some buff meathead right now, I think he said hiss name was Bruta? It doesn't matter, he probably lacks the wits necessary to win." - David Thorn (One of Bruta's many victims in Ragtag)
History
It originally started as just bull wrestling, with only the strong able to compete. Then, official changes were made to the sport including the boards it's known for today. Some nice changes were also included that made sure you didn't have to wrestle the bull.
Execution
Not many rituals are done during the game besides an oath of honesty and to not cheat.
Components and tools
Usually you need a fenced-in ring with red flags adorned on the inside walls. Also, a wooden table is customary for serious games.
