The island of Fractura is a volatile one. Caesellius Vindex and Provectus are the two main superpowers in this isolated world. The two have been warring for decades, constantly being left with bloody stalemates. Efforts to quell the violence are futile because of the land feud's length and brutality. Both factions have become adjusted to this savage inevitability of violence with adaptations and technology. Caesellius Vindex was originally a farming and fishing community. The law of the land is made by a monarchy bloodline with many famous rulers. The place was a safe haven in the south area for refugees and debtors to live a quiet life. Then Provectus took some land, a little more, and more until enough was enough. The population is slightly lower than Provectus as many were farmers or fisherman with a lot of land. The south side of the island consists of wide prairies, narrow rivers, and rolling hills. The temperatures here are warm. The soil and mines are rich with resources that the north side lacks. The military is less advanced here but have the advantage of land knowledge. Provectus was once a bustling city, but that's a far cry to what it is now. The land is ruled by a series of dictators. Due to its land feud, The outer edge of this territory is completely militarized and fortified. Meanwhile the inner city is a cornucopia of culture and business. Sculptures of ancient deities tower over citizens; depicting supernatural beings. Most of the economy relies on fishing and labor. There are few rivers that run through Provectus so they rely on the island coast. Provectus holds a legacy for producing people with proficient skills and ingenuity for engineering. Citizens here think of themselves as superior in intelligence to the opposition. This creates a stereotype that Vindexians are stupid and the people of Provectus are pompous. The land is home to steep mountains, rocky terrain, and jagged plateaus. There are also chilly temperatures in this region. The soil is infertile and holds very little metals. Despite this, their military is much more skilled and well-armed. In this war, Provectus are the attackers, so they must navigate Caesellius Vindex.
