Long ago, the Elceran Family name was praised for bringing fortune and prosperity to Westtown. They were respected, feared, and even held a considerable amount of power; despite being elves in a city mostly made up of humans. But once the head of the family, Tordynnar, had passed away and his son, Ihimbraskar, became head, things started going to ruin. The corrupt nobles took advantage of Tordynnar’s death, imposing unjust taxes and laws. Ihimbraskar being the new head of the Elceran Family was used as a scapegoat and blamed for the heavy taxes and ridiculous laws. The once prosperous city was losing its shine and with corrupt nobles now holding most of the power, the city fell into desperation. Although the Elceran name is currently sullied, Ihimbraskar does not intend to let Westtown remain in disparity forever. Ihimbraskar believes he restore Westtown to its once prosperous state. But before any of this can be done, the Elceran family will need powerful allies. In this dark age for the Elceran family, three brothers now make up the next generation, Finnufaranell (Finn) the Eldest, Gilgaland (Gil) the middle child, and Elkhazel (Elk) the youngest. The three brothers were taught everything from literature to politics and even combat by their father. Both Gil and Finn showed considerable promise for fighting and were taught the family combat style of bladesinging combining powerful magic with graceful swordplay. Elk while not showing much promise for neither swordplay nor magic; however, was remarkable in his studies. The two eldest brothers are sent out on a quest to find powerful allies for their family. For the first time since their birth, the three brothers will be separated, each on their own path to help restore the Elceran family to its former glory.
