The Blighted Wood

The woodland surrounded by the river is know by many names, The Blighted Woos, The Forest of Lies, and Nightmare Forest, to name a few. The things that lurk in these woods are the kinds of things that go bump in the night.
The most common types of creatures living there are the blightlings, animated wooden monstrosities that attack without apprehension.
Sometimes people are lured into the wood to be devoured by its inhabitants.

Fauna & Flora

Nothing in the forest is as it appears. Twig and bushes can come alive to attack invaders.

The trees and other foliage in the wood tend to grow faster than normal.
