Session 03 - The Sky Is Falling

General Summary

With the dragon's appearance, the city of Lunaris is in an absolute panic. Which is made worse by the sightings of goblins within the borders. Shortly after the party is fighting for their lives as waves upon waves of goblins enter the battlefield. Their battle is interrupted as a skyship explodes overhead and large pieces of wreckage explode plummet towards them. By a stroke of luck, none of our heroes perish.

Discussing what to do next, they decide to head over to what's left of Skyshard HQ, only to find the captain and 5 others coming out. The captain comes with a crazy plan to use two skyships to take that dragon down. The party is split in two and while one half makes plans to escape entirely, the other group makes a daring assault on the dragon. The captain wants to ram the ship into the dragon but is convinced to let another soldier do it. The dragon becomes badly injured and flees the battlefield, followed by what remains of the goblin skycrafts.

After returning to the ground (and their fellow party members returning), the latter are put into prison for a day. The party is rewarded a skyship for their troubles. The next day, it's time to clean up the mess that the beginning of the second Blood War has caused and that means taking back control from disparate factions that now control parts of Lunaris: The Workways, The Slums and The Arcane Plaza.

After a surgical strike, the workways are liberated from thugs and is made into the new headquarters of the party.
