Light's Sunney Valley

Once a valley where the first recorded Humane were recorded to live. It's no been reduced to a dangerous and uninhabitable crater, referred to as Sunney's Crater.   There are many stories and tall tells from this time, were the Humane first started.   A figure dress in long black robes stood before the first Humane, offering the underground, but entirely lit valley for them to live in, safe from the monsters outside. It offers them three questions before they are to start their lives.   The Humane asked what was outside, and the the figure said danger.   The Humane asked their purpose, and the figure simply said to survive.   The Humane asked the figure what to call it, so they could offer prayers and offerings in its name.   But this angered the figure, claiming no gods reside in the world of Band, and that the Humane were to work instead of pray, and prosper rather than send offerings.   The Humane had more questions, but the figure only offered three. They crowded nearby, and asked the black robed figure how there were to survive, but the figure says nothing. Impatient, they grab at the figure's robes, tugging and pulling. The robes falls, and a pile of dust falls to the ground.   Confused and scared, the Humane talk among themselves. There are getting nowhere until a burst of light, brighter than the already lit cavern. It leads them to a wooden building, from what they will eventually refer to as the Origin World, a ruin from a time before them. They set to work repairing the building and clearing the space, when another burst of light leads them to another old building.   The lights continue like this, leading them to patches of wild plants to eat and sow seeds from, small monsters to hunt and eventually domesticate, and they live a prosperous life, secluded from the world, but prospering in their own little cave.    They refer to the figure as a light, eventually just as Light itself.    But they always end up greedy, unsated in their happiness. The story of Light's Sunney Valley splits every decade its told, the real reasoning the Humane were driven out or escaped onto the surface of Dust remains a mystery.
