Peppers' Fragrances
A perfume Frale wear around Humane meant to mask Frale Crystals distinct stench.
The first scent that was acceptable to the Humane nose was made from dead petals of the Gandile Flower.
First advertised as Gandile Cream, it was a powdered grandile petal mixed in some thick cream that adequately covered the smell of the crystals, but ranged from severe itching to burns on the skin applied. They experimented with the recipe, turning into a spray that lessened the initial complaints.
After becoming widespread, employeers of Frale would douse them in it before enterting the workplace, which they then discovered the severe burning took to the eyes rather than skin. They've come to call it peppers, as it stung as if peppers were shoved in the eye. Not realizing the negative connotation, the name stuck with the Department of Humane Research and Restrictions and they rebranded, and set up shop at the entrance of every Frale District.
They now come in a variety of scents and non-irritant formulas.
