Curse of the Void

The Curse of the Void is a fair price towards those who forced themselves to accept Elemis other than the ones they are born with. A Faidh can only have one Elemi at a time, depending on their genetics or traits. Should they attempt to accept or steal another Faidh's Elemi, a False Inanis will be bestowed upon them which will lead to the Curse, resulting in blindness, cripple, or mutation into Void Caller.

Causes

The curse is casted onto those who were stubborn to accept foreign Elemis into their being, provided they are still alive after assimilating the second element.
If the Faidh is alive, the curse will begin to take place randomly on their body. It would appear as a bruise on a body or an itch on the eye, but they will eventually turn black and cracks of black or red run over it. The pain and effect intensifies the more Elemi within the host, and will grant Inanis upon them. However, the power of the Void would be extremely flawed as each use damages the host and cuts their lifespan.
The power is called False Void, due to its parasitic and limited nature.

History

Much of the curse's information is stored within the Book of Ash, guarded by the Ashen Priests zealously in Spectre. 
The book states that the power of the Void, Inanis, is only accessible to the Ashen Born as they are able to wield multiple Elemi. One has no clue how to become an Ashen Born, as the only known Ashen Born being a living god and the proxy of the All-Father. However, there were attempts to become one by forcing oneself to accept Elemis aside from the ones they were born with.
Though it is not widely known, Alain Darte is the only person to be inflicted by the Curse of the Void on their right eye. The eye is blinded and appeared like a cracked marble. The curse enables Alain to wield Inanis and multiple other Elemis, however, the more they use Inanis, their lifespan will be cut little by little as Alain isn't a true Ashen Born.
